AMA recap — SnakeCity & Avalanche Indonesia
On Monday, May 16, 2022 at 08:00 pm (UTC+7), we hosted a Live AMA with Alexis — (Jabatan) & Putra — Indonesian Moderator from Snake City team in 2 languages (English — Indonesian) at https://t.me/avalanche_id, and the event was led by Desi Marliana as Moderator.
For those who did not have the opportunity to attend, here we present a transcript during the AMA in revised form:
Q: Inpired by the most famous snake game — Slither.io, SnakeCity is not quite a new concept for players but it is difinitely an explosive development to the gamefi world, Can you list 1–2 killer features of this project that makes it ahead of its competitors? What is the competitive advantage your project has that you feel most confident about? And What notable milestones have you achieved to date?
A: Among the gameFi world, we create Snake City as Platform not just game only, but also promotion platform to promote other Crypto project. Our 6 game modes are Training mode, Battle Arena, Tournament, Freezone, Discovery Mode and Sponsored event.
In Sponsored event, we will collaborate with other NFT projects so when players enter the game, they can earn another NFT type from partners’ project or their token. With this feature, we will let partner to hire/bid the map, we design character, food, skin, traits as logo, brand asset of partner. User have the chance to earn not only SNCT token but also our partner’s token.
I also believe SnakeCity will easily attract players from non-crypto world since we have Freezone mode, this is a free-to-play mode that doesn’t require to invest. As the game has a close concept to the famous snake game, players won’t find it hard to learn how to play, they just need to jump in the game and experience.
Another special point is that one of our top priorities is the personalization feature, in the near future, players can customize their own snake’ skin and of course it can be traded in the market.
Q: Game Economy and NFT economy is very important for GameFi, recently we experience many game failed about their economy with inflation of their i game token. What mechanism that Snake City applies to solve this issues and make the game operate in long run?
A: With the rich experience of the dev team, we have worked together on many big online multiplayer projects. There are two points that stand out of the project is that we develop anti-hacking system and anti-inflation mechainism which is the most concern in the gameFi world.
In term of anti-hacking system, we have researched and learned to minimize hacking/cheat in the game. Therefore, the holes in hacking/cheat have been predicted and prepared by the team from the very beginning. Anti-hacking for the game was a top priority during development. Plus Blockchain technology, the level of security is one level higher than traditional games.
About anti-inflation mechanism, we have always prepared for the project’s balance economy that includes NFT Economy, Token Economy.
In Anti Inflation Mechanism, we are developing it owns fuctions which will support us to strictly control the supply of our token which are:
- Minting control
- Token Utility
- Burning Mechanism
- Diverse Revenue Stream
Q: Could you share more about the background of the “Snake Heroes NFT”, how will users be able to earn from this?
A: Our Snake NFT is limited because we have Breeding and Fusion feature which will create more Snakes from this and they can be traded on the market. Begin with SnakeCity, you will enter Starter Pack and purchase the eggs, the eggs when they finish hatching they will turn into Snake. All Snake creatures are generated with certain species which has several advantages over their opponents upon the area the battle are taken. There are 4 species in total which are: Water, Fire, Ice and Land. The strength of your snake is depent on the rarity of that Snake NFT.
Q: Finding investors has been difficult, keeping investors is even more difficult, so what strategy does Snake City have enough to make investors trust and go a long way with the project? We noticed that SnakeCity get funded from Blizzard fund of Avalanche. Which support you get so far from your partners and backers? And Why you choose Avalanche and Avalaunch?
A: To get as far as today, SnakeCity’s development team had to work hard, day and night to fulfill their dream of successfully building one of the best games on Avalanche, a game that every player will enjoy when playing.
Besides, on this long and challenging road, SnakeCity has been honored to accompany and share the vision with great, reputable and experienced partners in the industry such as Trader Joe, UnixGaming,… and many are on the way to come.
The reason why we choose the platform is because Avalaunch is a launchpad powered by the Avalanche platform, allowing new and innovative projects to seamlessly prepare for launch with an emphasis on fair and broad distribution. Q: The GameFi world has become saturated lately and not all projects can develop in the long term. What makes SnakeCity confident is to outperform and survive through tough times especially with the market’s day by day growing cut throat competition?
A: As the vision of SnakeCity is to bring long-term benefits to investors and players, the development team have calculated everything including future event to clearly demonstrate a sustainable ecosystem. And the difficulties of this industry I believe not only SnakeCity has to face it but also every NFT game on the market.
Each part of the project has its own challenge but we — SnakeCity team who always put the best work for this project. You can follow our channels, we are organizing step by step to make sure players and investors are choosing the right project. They definately are!
The community are becoming bigger and stronger everyday, members are all excited for the project. The long-term revenue of my game comes from the players themselves. Not from the latter paying the former, but from their spending money to get the real experience in the game. That is the sustainable source of income that SnakeCity is aiming for I can say just believe in us because this project has a huge potential and a promising playground for you all
Q: We usually launch AMA in a normal way but SnakeCity team has decided to do the AMA differently. What are the advantages of this new AMA way and the message you want to convey through ama with our community today?
A: Community plays an important role in every project, to build SnakeCity’s community as strong as today, we have successfully held weekly events that always contain huge pool rewards and a large number of participants. How the community response speaks out to the strength of the project. I’m proud to say our members always engage with SnakeCity’s activities especially on our Twitter and Telegram. In the future, we will continue organize events and release more and more in-game competitions which SnakeCity is about to launch. We have built SnakeCity with all beloved feature and through AMA event like today, we would love to have members to join and experience the game with us.
Q: Community is getting more and more curious about SnakeCity’s IDO. Can you share with us about IDO and what’s next after IDO along with your roadmap?
A: We will soon launch IDO on Avalaunch about 23th this month. Right after IDO, we will have NFT Public Sale and also Token Genaration event and official game launch in the same day! There will be 630 NFT only so you have to be quick. In the future, we will also collaborate with Guild, and many other events will be released soon in the future!
